The future of the game is riding on this season. Bob will be giving us his honest input on the current state of the MLB, the intricacies of major league baseball’s shortened 60-game schedule, and the cloudy future of the game.
Miami Marlins season suspended indefinitely
The Miami Marlins home opener was canceled when a handful of players contracted the novel coronavirus. Nearly a week later at least 18 players from Miami have been rocked by Covid-19 leaving their season in doubt. In reaction to the outbreak, Commissioner of Baseball Rob Manfred has suspended the Marlins season through Sunday.
Philadelphia Phillies season in jeopardy
The Philadelphia Phillies find themselves in a similar predicament as they have only played three games of the season and have had their season derailed at least through Saturday due to COVID-19 concerns.
